Geordon was in the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Hospital overnight Monday and his cerebral angiogram went well on Tuesday morning. The imaging was excellent, the hospital and staff were extraordinary and Geordon had no ill effects. We have talked with one neurosurgeon and we are still gathering information from other doctors about ways forward.
The angiogram has confirmed that Geordon has two aneurysms - mirrored on each side of his head just above his temple. Due to where they are, two surgeries over the next month will be necessary, about two weeks apart. We will let you know as soon as we have dates. In the meantime, we have been advised to rest and trust the process.
Thank you again for your concern for our family, for your prayers and your encouraging notes. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful community around us. In turn, we join in prayer for the rest of the world in such pain and turmoil.
