Guess who is home again? On Tuesday Geordon dressed up for an important meeting, on Wednesday he had surgery and 50 hours after entering the OR, Geordon was released from hospital! We had an emotional prayer/praise time before we left the hospital room, thinking not only of the previous couple days but of the past ten weeks since all this started. These ten weeks have included:

-MRI results showing two mirrored aneurysms in Geordon’s head

-war with Ukraine and Russia

-two brain surgeries (March 16 & April 27)

-the passing of four friends

-long walks keeping perspective

The photo below is us having a celebratory coffee at Café Nero (where Joy was studying) before we left Cleveland Clinic. As we ease into Eid at the end of Ramadan and a slightly more relaxed public pace, we will be focusing on Joy as she starts her first IB exam on May 4. We will update again as recovery progresses and as we regain equilibrium for whatever comes next.

THANK YOU for being part of this journey with us. The outpouring of love and community support has been incredible! We are blessed to be a blessing and look forward to sharing with others the encouragement we ourselves have received.
