Geordon was moved to a regular room today and is in good spirits. All tubes have been removed and he is being encouraged to move around - slowly, as able. The surgeon reported that all had gone well, that they did a followup angiogram immediately after the surgery to check on both procedures and that everything looked good.

A physiotherapist visited Geordon in his room today and mentioned that his fitness will greatly help with recovery. At the same time, she cautioned about doing too much all at once. While the physical is somewhat measurable, the emotional and physiological components after brain surgery will take more time to heal. Sleep will be key in steady recuperation. So for today, we simply want to reflect on being grateful. . .and take naps as needed. 🙂

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2
