All of us had a good sleep last night. Geordon hasn’t had any pain medication since he was in the ICU and the swelling has diminished. Wound dressings were changed by two doctors (Emirati and Lebanese) who observed the surgery. Today we walked around the 13th floor twice - Geordon in his customary hospital-issued garb and bright yellow socks. We were told today he should be able to go home tomorrow! As we head into the weekend we may slow down on the daily blogs as we adjust to being back home. While progress is being made each day, Geordon tires easily. Thank you to all praying for rest and recovery.

Today’s morning passage for Lectio 365 was Psalm 23 and yesterday we were listening to the girls’ Psalm 23 musical mix from over a year ago so thought we would include it here.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.” Psalm 23:1-2
